Continue your journey through Matsumoto, Hakuba, Togakushi Shrine, and the historic Zenkoji Temple, before ending your tour with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji at Oishi Park.

What To Expect
- Day 1Tokyo → Magome-juku → Hirugami Onsen → Japan’s Best Stargazing
Depart from Tokyo and journey to the beautifully preserved Magome-juku, a historic post town along the ancient Nakasendo Trail. Stroll through its charming stone-paved streets before continuing to Hirugami Onsen, one of Japan’s renowned hot spring resorts.
After enjoying a traditional Japanese dinner at your onsen ryokan, ride the gondola to Heaven’s Sonohara for the unforgettable Japan’s Best Stargazing Night Tour in Achi Village. End the day relaxing in the soothing hot springs before your overnight stay.
Dinner
- Day 2Hirugami Onsen → Matsumoto → Hakuba → Nagano
After breakfast, depart from Hirugami Onsen and travel to the historic city of Matsumoto. Explore the area around Matsumoto Castle, one of Japan’s National Treasures, and enjoy free time strolling through the charming Nakamachi Street and Nawate Street, where you can discover local cafés, shops, and regional specialties.
In the afternoon, continue to Hakuba, renowned for its breathtaking scenery in the Northern Japan Alps. Take in the spectacular mountain landscapes before heading to Nagano for your overnight stay. Enjoy a relaxing evening and explore the local dining scene at your leisure.

- Day 3Nagano → Togakushi Shrine → Zenkoji Temple → Nagano
After breakfast, visit the sacred Togakushi Shrine, a spiritual site with over 2,000 years of history. Walk along the majestic cedar-lined forest path and experience the peaceful atmosphere that has made Togakushi one of Japan’s most revered shrine complexes.
Continue to Zenkoji Temple, one of Japan’s most important Buddhist temples with a history of more than 1,400 years. Enjoy free time to explore the temple grounds, stroll along the traditional Nakamise shopping street, sample local specialties, and shop for souvenirs.
Return to Nagano in the afternoon for a relaxing evening. You may explore the city at your leisure or enjoy local Shinshu cuisine before your overnight stay.

- Day 4Nagano → Mt. Fuji (Oishi Park) → Tokyo
After breakfast, depart from Nagano and travel to Oishi Park in the Fuji Five Lakes region. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, Japan’s most iconic landmark, with Lake Kawaguchi providing a spectacular foreground. Take a leisurely stroll through the lakeside park, capture memorable photos, and enjoy free time for lunch.

The Japan’s Best Stargazing experience is subject to weather conditions. As stargazing depends on natural weather and sky conditions, clear views of the stars or the Milky Way cannot be guaranteed.
The Night Tour will operate as scheduled unless it is officially cancelled by the venue due to severe weather or operational reasons. No refunds or compensation will be provided for reduced visibility caused by cloudy skies, rain, fog, or other unfavorable weather conditions.
This experience is operated under the official policies of Heaven’s Sonohara Night Tour. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Cancellation policy
- Free cancellation up to 8 days before departure.
- 25% cancellation fee for cancellations made 7 to 4 days before departure.
- 50% cancellation fee for cancellations made 3 to 1 day before departure.
- No refund for cancellations made on the departure date, after the tour has commenced, in the event of a no-show, or if the guest voluntarily leaves the tour before completion.
- Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway fees, and currency exchange differences may be deducted from the refundable amount.
